Easy Ideas for Client Gifts

It’s that time of the year again- the Christmas season. This time of year is crazy busy, not just for us, but also for all our clients. Every year, we put together client gifts to show our appreciation for choosing to do business with us. However, after over 11 years in business, it can be difficult to think of new, meaningful gifts.

I figured that my husband and I can’t be the only business owners trying to think of new ideas for clients, which is why I put this list together. Hopefully, you find an idea here that can inspire you for your own business!

Here’s a list of 5 thoughtful gifts your clients are sure to love:

Coffee

Now here’s something that every office needs: coffee! Not only is coffee easy to find and buy, but it is sure to be a hit. Quality coffee beans make a great gift for anyone on your list, and it’s sure to be appreciated. Not only will your client enjoy the rich flavor and aroma of freshly brewed coffee, but they’ll also appreciate the thoughtfulness of the gesture. Whether you opt for a single bag or a subscription, a coffee gift is always a welcome surprise. So go ahead and give the gift of java this holiday season – your clients will thank you for it!

If you’re local to Oklahoma like we are, I highly recommend Neighbor’s Coffee. They have been roasting in Oklahoma City since 1972 and offer some delicious holiday-flavored coffee. You can place an order online and have it delivered directly to your client or you can put together a basket with your favorite coffees and drop it off personally.

Our favorites are Snickerdoodle, Orange Seville, and Holiday Cheer.

Bakery Delivery

This gift is sure to bring delight to the entire office! There is nothing better than showing up to the office and someone’s brought pastries. You can choose from a variety of baked goods to ensure everyone at the office has something to eat throughout the day.

Many corporate bakeries now have delivery options, such as Krispy Kreme or Nothing Bundt Cakes. However, since we own a small business and work with small businesses, we prefer to shop locally. One of the best bakeries in our area, Merritt’s Bakery, now has delivery services. They have a Christmas-themed order ready to go so you don’t have to individually pick out which pastries to order!

finished candy jar for clients

Candy Jars

This year, McWilliams Media decided to make candy jars to send out to our clients. We found the most adorable jars from Target. They are meant to look like gumball machines, how cute is that? We found them in the dollar section and stocked up on several bags of assorted candies and got to assembling them.

After assembly, we tied some ribbon around the top and secured our business cards to it so they know it was us that dropped them off.

If you’re curious about how we assembled the jars or what the finished product looks like, check out our YouTube video below.

Custom Water Bottle

Lots of businesses are gifted branded mugs as client gifts every year. However, most people only use their mugs in the morning to get their jolt of caffeine. A unique idea could be branding a nice water bottle that they will be able to use all day, year-round.

There are tons of options when it comes to which brand to pick, but there is one that stands above the rest: Yeti. A Yeti water bottle is not only trendy but incredibly sturdy! It could be a gift that stands the test of time and no doubt they will think of your business whenever they see it.

Quite a few companies online can print on Yetis, or you can use a local printing company.

Custom Notebooks

Some people are able to take notes virtually, but some have to write notes down on paper for them to stick in their brain. For that reason, giving your client custom notebooks for the entire team is a very considerate gift.

A thoughtfully chosen notebook can also be a useful tool for your client, whether they use it for work or for personal notes. A custom notebook is a gift that keeps on giving: every time your client uses it, they’ll be reminded of your thoughtfulness and attention to detail. So if you’re looking for a client gift that’s both practical and personal, consider a custom notebook. Your clients will be sure to appreciate your thoughtfulness – and you might even get a thank-you note in return!

In all honesty, most businesses are going to be flattered and impressed by any client gift you send them. As a business owner, it shows a level of dedication and commitment to the client. As a client, it is a comforting and reassuring gesture that makes them feel well cared for.

This list is just a few ideas that are relatively inexpensive, easy, and quick to put together while still making an impact on your clients. What are you thinking about for client gifts this year? Let me know if you use any of my ideas and be sure to check out my YouTube video!
