Crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, these homemade crab rangoons are filled with cream cheese, imitation crab, garlic, and simple seasonings. Perfect for parties, appetizers, or a fun takeout-style snack at home!

Ingredients

Filling

  • 20 wonton wrappers
  • 5 oz imitation crab meat, finely minced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 green onion, finely minced
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Make the Filling

In a large bowl, combine the imitation crab, cream cheese, green onion, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until smooth and well combined.

2. Fill the Wontons

Lay a wonton wrapper on a clean surface.
Place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center.
Lightly wet the edges of the wrapper with water.

3. Shape the Rangoons

Fold the wrapper into a triangle and press firmly to seal.
Bring the two bottom corners together and pinch to form the classic four-point rangoon shape.
Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

4. Air Fry

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
  2. Lightly spray rangoons with oil.
  3. Arrange in a single layer without overlapping.
  4. Air fry for 6–8 minutes, or until golden and crisp.

Serve

Let cool slightly and serve warm with sweet Thai chili sauce for dipping.
